Korean Physiotherapy / O Point One MS Clinic
General Physiotherapy, MS & Sports Injuries Specialists
Having comprehensive understanding of illnesses from both Western and Eastern perspectives, the Korean Physiotherapy Clinic has developed an innovative method to assess and treat many physical symptoms.
The unique method is rather wisdom obtained from the practitioner’s compassionate experiences for more than a decade in South Korea as well as in Great Britain in the field of health care.
The clinic attracted multi-national talents, who are motivated and highly skilled, to offer quality hands-on treatment service to make a difference to people’s quality of life.
0.1 (O Point One) Physiotherapy
Mildest and least invasive form of physiotherapy
When working with MS people in our clinic, we use a Physiotherapy technique which we call 0.1 (O Point One). Chongsu Lee and his team have worked hard to develop the 0.1 (O Point One) physiotherapy technique since 2011. After a series of MS case studies in 2012, the technique has been refined and now offers a treatment from which all MS people should benefit.
In physiotherapy education, students learn a spinal mobilisation technique graded from 1 to 5. Grade 5 is the most forceful form of the technique, often producing bone-realignment and a ‘popping’ sound in the spine. Grade 1 is the mildest level where the practitioner exerts a minimal amount of force to produce a small range of movement in the vertebral joints.
Our 0.1 (O Point One) spinal mobilisation technique is much milder than Grade 1 mobilisation, approximately one-tenth, hence 0.1. It is the mildest and least invasive form of physiotherapy. All the therapists in our clinic have been fully trained by Chongsu Lee, who initiated the development of the technique after exploring various forms of treatment modalities from both the West and the East.
0.1 (O Point One) also has a philosophical meaning. As our society advances, becoming ever more sophisticated, everything seems to be competing to increase numerically. For example, the Smart phone starts with the 2.0 generation, then moves to 2.5 and so on up to 4.0. Similarly with Windows. Simplicity, however, can often be the best solution to complex problems.
